Boost Tapped CLLCTVE Freelancers to Better Understand Its Target Market

The Problem

Built specifically for the side hustle generation, Boost allows users to manage their cash flow, build personal wealth and improve financial literacy. It's like Quickbooks, but tailored to Gen Z's needs and experiences. The brand came to CLLCTVE looking to learn more about young side hustlers' pain points in managing their finances and maintaining financial literacy.


The Solution

We paired Boost with Gen Z side hustlers to source information about their biggest financial pain points. Along with written survey responses, Boost collected videos of creators describing their pain points in order to allow the brand to kickstart its socials with video content.

The Result

Boost worked with CLLCTVE creators to better understand:

  • The demographics of survey respondents
  • Which side hustles earned participants money and which platforms they typically use to facilitate that
  • Why they enjoy side hustling
  • What tools they use to organize their income and where they struggle in that process

Boost sourced 30 unique video responses from their creator matches, providing them with evergreen content for future use and authentic representations of the lived experiences of young freelancers.

Both the insights gathered and the videos sourced allowed the brand to receive inexpensive market research, exposure to potential users and actionable insights on what its target market needs most.
